Banswara devotees witnessed Yagyacharna and Bhagwat Parayan organized.

Banswara : Apart from the saints and sages, a large number of devotees arrived from the city on Monday, the seventh day of the religious event of Lakshminarayan Mahayagya, Ashtottarashat Bhagwat Parayan and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized at Lalivav Math of the city to wish for the salvation of all the ancestors. The family members of the guests participated in the Sarva Pitru Moksha ritual and performed tarpan, havan and collective aarti. Devotees witnessed the Yagya Archana and Bhagwat Parayan and took advantage of the parikrama. Heads of monasteries, akharas and ashrams from different parts of the country as well as national level officials of organizations of saint-mahatmas and saint-mahants of various sects participated in the event. There is a long queue of devotees for the Srividya Mahayagya, Sri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya, Mool Parayan of 108 Srimad Bhagwat and other special rituals going on in the decorated pandals in the vast premises of the Math.

After seeing the rituals of worship, listening to the Vedic hymns and mythological mantras and stotras etc., seeing the statues of Lord Shripadmanabha, Hanuman, Jitendriya Nageshwar in the temples, the devotees will visit the statues of the former Peethadheeshwars of Lalivav Math and pay their obeisance at the Samadhi. After this, people are also shopping at the shops and other stalls at the fair site. On Monday, various rituals, chanting of mantras, tarpan, marjan and yagyarchan related to Srividya and Vishnulakshmi took place in the Yagya Mandap under the leadership of Yagyacharya Pt. Nikunj Mohan Pandya and Brahmarshi Pt. Divya Bharat Pandya. After worshiping the divine Shivalinga installed in the Yagya Mandap with Shodashopachar, Rudrabhishek was performed by a group of pundits. Similarly, under the Shatchandi ritual, the goddess worshipers collectively recited Durga Saptashati. As part of the ritual, Sri Sukta along with Avaran Puja, Chakra Puja, Khadgamala, Trishati, Lalita Sahasranama, Srividya Mantra and Durga Mantra for poverty alleviation were recited.
