Bhuvan Pandya, Banswara District Coordinator (Vendor) of Agriculture Insurance Company, an agency that insures crops, said – A total of 39 thousand 594 farmers of the district had insured their fields of 28 thousand hectare area for the crops of Rabi-2023 season. For this, he had deposited about Rs 8 crore including the share of Central and State Government. Of these, 4804 farmers have suffered loss in their crops.
