Dungarpur : The results of by-elections for seven seats in Rajasthan are coming today. Counting of votes has started. Tribal politics has been prevalent in Rajasthan since the last assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Even in these by-elections, there are two assembly seats which are tribal dominated. Obviously the issues of tribals have dominated in these elections also. Among these seven seats of Rajasthan, Chaurasi assembly seat of tribal dominated Dungarpur district is in discussion. The reason for this is the rapidly emerging Bharatiya Adivasi Party (BAP) in this area. The Father has forgotten the quartet of both the major parties of the state, BJP and Congress. Both the parties are trying to compete with the father. The contest here remains triangular.
Eighty-four seats have been in the control of the tribal community since the last two elections. Bharatiya Adivasi Party MLA Rajkumar Roat, who won this seat with a huge majority in the 2023 assembly elections, later tried his luck in the elections from Banswara-Dungarpur Lok Sabha seat. Seeing the situation in the Lok Sabha elections and to stop the winning chariot of NDA in Rajasthan, Congress had formed an alliance with BAP on this seat. After that, Rajkumar Rot also won the Lok Sabha elections by a margin of lakhs of votes. Due to this, this seat of eighty-four became vacant. Congress and BJP are stunned to see the dominance of their father in the area.
There is competition between these candidates
This time father has not formed an alliance with Congress. She is contesting the elections independently. BAP, which is progressing rapidly on the strength of young tribals, has fielded young Anil Katara on the eighty-fourth seat. BJP has placed its bet on Karilal Nanoma, the aged head of Simalwada in front of him. At the same time, Congress has put forward young candidate Mahesh Rot to contest against his father. Here the BAP party is confident of its victory. At the same time, Congress and BJP have unleashed all their might to win the stronghold of Chaurasi. Within some time it will become clear who will become Sikandar of Chaurasi-four?
There is a fight for supremacy instead of issues
In Dungpur there is a fight for supremacy instead of local issues. Father is here to strengthen his party. Whereas BJP and Congress are struggling to maintain their existence here. One lakh 89 thousand 858 voters had cast their votes in the by-election for the eighty-fourth assembly seat. Of these, 97 thousand 212 are male and 92 thousand 645 are female voters. 74.34 percent voting took place on eighty-four seats. It is about to be revealed in whose favor such heavy voting has taken place.
