Barmer : Awareness program was organized at Government Hospital on World AIDS Day. On this occasion, the patients coming to the hospital and their families were made aware by giving detailed information about how HIV AIDS occurs and how it can be prevented. On this occasion, Hospital Superintendent Dr. BL Masuria said that various programs are organized on AIDS Day with the aim of making people aware about HIV/AIDS. Whose main objective is to make people aware about this terrible disease and to save people from its infection.
HIV is a type of virus, which after entering our blood, destroys the white blood cells. At present there is no cure for it in the whole world. After getting infected with this terrible disease, a person becomes victim of other diseases one after the other. Therefore a person needs to be more aware of it. During this, senior pediatrician Dr. Harish Chauhan said that there is a lot of hesitation among the people regarding HIV AIDS. People don’t talk openly. Therefore, from time to time, awareness campaigns are being run among the general public about HIV AIDS through various programs.
On this occasion, ART Center’s Data Manager Abrar Mohammad said that the World AIDS Day program is being organized under the joint aegis of Government Hospital, Chief Medical and Health Officer Barmer, Cairn Vedanta Foundation and BNP Plus. Abrar said that the only objective behind organizing HIV awareness programs is to save people from AIDS. People should be alert and instead of increasing distance from patients, motivate them to live. During this, BNP Plus Institute President Devidan Charan, Depku Department Officer Navratan Soni, social worker Tejdan Charan, LT Premsingh Nirmohi, Haj servant Bachchu Khan Kumhar, Master Mohammad Rafiq Kotwal also cooperated in the AIDS awareness campaign.
