Barmer : A case has been registered against Rajasthan Congress Youth State President and Sangaria MLA Abhimanyu Punia for giving inflammatory speech. The MLA had said on November 30 – If the officer harasses you too much then the youth is strong, you can beat the officer. Then we will deal with it.
On Monday, Jodhpur Range IG Vikas Kumar had instructed Barmer SP Narendra Singh Meena to take legal opinion and register a case. After this, a case has been registered against MLA Poonia in Sedwa police station of Barmer, which will be investigated by CID-CB.
Actually, MLA Poonia had taken out a bike rally for about 19 kilometers in Sedwa of Barmer district on Saturday. After this there was a public meeting.
