Barmer Chief Government Secretary T. Ravikant took feedback of Pachpadra Refinery

Barmer : Principal Secretary to the Government, Mines and Petroleum, T. Ravikant visited the Pachpadra Refinery Project in Balotra district. Took feedback on the work being done by various units including BIGEST, Petcoke, DCU, VDU DIL. Also, instructions have been given to speed up the work of Sulfur Recovery Unit.
Ravikant said- 90 to 98 percent work of 10 processes of the refinery has been completed. About 82.7 percent work of the project has been completed.

In fact, CM Bhajanlal Sharma keeps taking information about the work progress of the refinery at meetings and other occasions. It is serious to start production in the refinery as soon as possible. During the discussion, the CM had instructed the concerned officials to expedite the work.

Principal Secretary Mines and Petroleum T. Ravikant said that Rajasthan Refinery being a dream project of the state government, it will add to the industrial and economic development of the state. HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL), a joint venture company of HPCL and the Government of Rajasthan, has accelerated the work on the state-of-the-art Rajasthan Refinery of BS-6 standard with 9 million tonne annual capacity at Pachpadra Barmer.

He informed that about 94 percent work of Crude/Vacuum Distillation Unit and Delayed Cocker Unit, more than 98 percent work of Hydrogen Generation Unit and Diesel Hydrogen Unit and more than 94 percent work of VGO-HDT Unit etc. has been done.

T. Ravikant visited other units under construction and held detailed discussions with the officials of the refinery. Also expressing the need to speed up the work, he said that the refinery will have to start production as soon as possible, so that the dream of the state can be fulfilled with the start of production in the dream project.
