Barmer District Magistrate Tina Dabi administered pulse polio medicine to children

Barmer : The 3-day pulse polio campaign was started on Sunday at booths across Barmer district. District Collector Tina Dabi started the campaign by administering polio doses to children in the district hospital.

In the campaign, medicines are being given to children up to 5 years of age. From Monday, different teams will go door-to-door to administer medicines to children. During this, BJP youth leader Deepak Kadwasra, CMHO Dr. Sanjeev Mittal, PMO Dr. BL Mansooriya, RCHO Dr. BS Gehlot and many doctors and officers were present.

CMHO said- Polia medicine will be administered at booths across the district on Sunday. After this, medicine will be administered door-to-door for two days.

Actually, medicines are being administered on Sunday at 189 booths in the district. Children who do not reach these booths will be given pulse polio medicine by going door-to-door. The target of the department is that 100% children up to 5 years of age should be given polio vaccine.
