Barmer : Joint Chief Electoral Officer Pratibha Pareek will review the efforts to improve the voter and gender ratio of the district during her stay in Barmer. She will also visit booth centres. District Election Officer Tina Dabi said that under the special brief revision program of voter lists, village and ward meetings will be organized on Saturday and special campaign camps will be organized on Sunday. Addition and deletion of names, addresses, dates of birth, photos etc. of voters will be amended at the booths. District Election Officer Tina Dabi said – As per the instructions of the Election Department, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Pratibha Pareek will review the efforts to improve the voter and gender ratio of the district during her stay in Barmer.
She will also visit booth centres. He informed that under the special brief revision program of voter lists, Ward and Gram Sabha will be organized on Saturday. In this, along with reading of voter lists, application forms will be received on the spot. By organizing special camps at the polling stations on Sunday, the draft voter list will be available for perusal of the general public. He said that online application can be made through BLO till November 28 for adding or deleting name in the voter list, making amendment in voter address, date of birth, photo etc. Under the special campaign, Forms 6, 6B, 7 and 8 can be filled online through BLO by appearing at the respective polling center on Sunday also.
