Barmer : Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati met the villagers sitting on indefinite strike in Hadwa village. Where the villagers, angry with the arbitrariness and non-promises of the solar companies, are fighting for their rights. This protest continues since 5th December. Villagers say that solar companies had made big promises while taking their land on lease but have failed to fulfill those promises.
The farmers allege that the solar companies made a provision to take their land on lease at the rate of Rs 6-8 lakh per bigha, but the companies, in collusion with the middlemen, cheated the farmers by giving them very little compensation. Whenever a farmer or villager raises voice against irregularities, solar companies file false cases against that person.
During this, MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati seriously listened to the problems of the villagers and supported their struggle and said that he will not let this issue rest until the solar companies stop breaking their promises and give their rights to the villagers. .
