Barmer News Desk: Due to lack of proper voltage in the district, the Discom system is not able to supply water to three districts from Mohangarh. At the same time, Discom does not release connections for open and cased wells of PHED.
Discoms are making thousands of super special connections. Due to the connivance of officials, discoms are rapidly publishing connections in super special files, but government connections are not published.
In Super Special there is only personal benefit but here the Discom does not have transformers or equipment to supply water to the public. For the last one and a quarter year, the population of about 50 thousand of 54 villages of the district has been affected. PHED has dug 59 water sources to provide drinking water in 54 villages, but due to the negligence of Discom officials, connections are not being made.
Despite depositing the demanded amount in the Discom for more than a year, the JEN, AEN and IS connections for November 2023 have not been made yet.
After applying for connection and filing a demand with PHED, the amount was deposited immediately, but the connection was not made. Discom has also installed poles at some places and is now alleging that transformers are not available.
