Barmer : Balotra district police has arrested the accused of supplying illegal drugs after 16 months. The accused is included in the top-10 criminals of Balotra police station. Police had seized 35.9 grams of MD powder on August 21, 2023. The police produced the wanted accused in the court and sent him to jail. At the same time, two accused have now been arrested in this case. A minor has been taken under police protection.
According to the police, on August 21, 2023, 35.9 grams of MD was seized and the accused Shravan son of Gopalram, resident of Kalyanpur was arrested. A case was registered against him under NDPS Act and investigation was started. The accused was interrogated, presented in the court and sent to jail.
Balotra police station officer Omprakash said – a minor, formerly a drug supplier MD, was taken under police protection and sent to the observation home. Whereas accused Jasram was absconding due to fear of police. On the basis of technical and information, the police team arrested the accused Jasraj (21), son of Purkharam, resident of Jat Colony, Samdari Road, Balotra. Jasram was presented in the court. From there he was sent to jail. Three cases are registered against the accused in different police stations of Balotra and Jodhpur. SI Umesh Vishnoi, Constable Devaram were involved in the action.
