Barmer : Siwana Police of Balotra district has arrested the accused who was absconding for 10 months in the assault and SC-ST case. The accused beat him and insulted him with caste related words. Sivana is included in the top-10 accused of the police circle. The accused was produced in the court and sent to jail.
According to the police, Gulabaram had given the report at Siwana police station on April 15. In which it was told that Gulabaram, Shambhu Singh son of Mangal Singh and Roop Singh son of Mag Singh, all three residents of Gungrot, were going to Dungar Singh’s Bera. During this time we saw that pipeline digging was going on with JCB machine in Umsar village. All three of us went to the machine. Where Suresh Kumar and Praveen Kumar were digging to lay the pipeline. Suresh Kumar and Praveen had sticks in their hands. Then I told Suresh Kumar that the villagers have forbidden taking water from the pipeline to the border, so why are you digging to lay the pipeline. As soon as I said this, Suresh Kumar abused my mother and sister, insulted me with caste-related words and beat me up. On the report, the police registered a case and started investigation.
DSP Neeraj Kumar Sharma said- Different police teams were formed. Raids were conducted at different places through technical and traditional policing. The team detained the wanted accused Suresh Kumar, son of Sanwalaram, resident of Sivana and arrested him. After interrogation, Suresh Kumar was presented in the court. From there he was sent to jail. The search for other accused is going on.
