Barmer woman arrested for obstructing government work

Barmer : Mandali police of Balotra district has arrested a woman accused of obstructing government work. The police team arrived on the information of a farm land dispute, during which members of a family had disrupted government work. Police have arrested the absconding female accused after 4 months. At present the investigation is going on.

According to the police, on July 25, information was received from Police Station Officer Mandali about a dispute regarding a petrol pump and nearby farm land in Jabta village Durgapura. On this the team reached the spot, there was a dispute between Devaram and Bachchu Khan. During this time, the family members of Bachchu Khan came together and created obstacles in the government work. On this, the police had registered a case against them in Mandali police station.

Mandali Police Station Officer Mahesh Goyal said – The accused had absconded after the incident. A police team was formed and raids were conducted at the possible hideouts of the accused. The accused Nizam Khan and Bachchu Khan have been arrested earlier in the case. After presenting him in the court, he has been sent to jail. The female accused, Amiya, wife of Bachchu Khan, resident of Durgapura Mandali Balotra, who was absconding for four months, was detained and interrogated. After interrogation he was arrested. At present the matter is being thoroughly researched. ASI Roop Singh, constable Utam Prakash and lady constable Premlata are involved in the action.
