Udaipur News Desk: After the coronation ceremony with blood at the Fatahprakash Mahal of Chittorgarh Fort, when the 77th Maharana of Mewar Vishwraj Singh reached Udaipur City Palace with his supporters for Dhuni Darshan to follow the tradition, he was not allowed inside. Their path was blocked by placing barricades there. After this, Vishvaraj’s supporters climbed the barricade and started trying to jump over it. Then stone pelting started from inside the City Palace. The situation there became tense late in the night, due to which the DM-SP deployed heavy police force outside the City Palace.
‘FIR will be filed against stone pelters’
At that time, Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Maharana Pratap, while addressing his supporters, said, ‘The administration will take action on the morning of 26th November. We have to see this action. The administration has assured for darshan. That is why there is an appeal to all of you not to take any law into your hands. We will protest peacefully. FIR will be registered against those pelting stones. There is an appeal to all of you to return back.
Dhuni Kurk appointed receiver
Now it is being said that today again Vishvaraj Singh’s supporters are going to gather outside the City Palace. In view of this, law and order has been tightened. Some pictures of this period have also surfaced, in which police barricades are seen installed on empty roads. In the night itself, the district administration has pasted the order for appointment of a receiver at the gate of City Palace. In this, information has also been given about attaching the place of Dhuni along with the road leading from Badi Pol to Dhuni and Zanana Mahal. In such a situation, the entire country including Rajasthan will keep an eye on the action taking place today.

MP Rajkumar Roat condemned the clash in Udaipur
Rajkumar Roat, Bharat Adivasi Party MP from Banswara-Dungarpur seat, has given his reaction on the Udaipur clash. On Tuesday morning, he wrote on X, ‘Udaipur royal family has committed the act of embarrassing the history of glorious Mewar and insulting the martyrs of Haldighati by fighting for power and wealth by pelting stones and throwing glass on the road. The Bhil community has made a huge contribution in making Mewar glorious, the coat of arms of Mewar itself testifies to this. Most of the blood of Bhils was shed in the war of Haldi Ghati, while the Bhil community was neglected in the programs of the royal family. We strongly condemn the entire incident.
