Sriganganagar News Desk: Today at 12:30 pm, the inverter battery exploded with a loud bang in an electric shop located in the main market of Anupgarh. The sound of the explosion of the battery was heard for about 100 meters. When the accident occurred, shop owners Mahendra Verma and Krishna Lal were working nearby. There were also two customers at the shop.
The shopkeeper told that due to the explosion, the goods kept nearby also got scattered. It is fortunate that there was no major damage in this accident. However, the reasons for the battery explosion have not been known yet.
Mahendra Verma told that he was working with his workers at the shop to repair the cooler motor. At the same time, the battery of the inverter installed nearby exploded with a loud bang. Due to the battery explosion, the surrounding items also got scattered. The smell and smoke spread in the shop. As soon as the battery exploded, he ran out of the shop along with his worker and two customers standing at the shop. It is fortunate that there has been no major loss during this period.
Battery expert Karamjeet Singh alias Manga said that if there is not enough water in the battery and the battery is under charge, then this is the main reason for the battery bursting. Apart from this, there is a possibility of the battery exploding due to short circuit or gas produced in the battery not being released.
