Be it Bikaner’s Bhujia or Jalore’s granite, now they will have access to the global market.

Bikaner : be it the taste of Rajasthan’s cuisine, tourism here or various products prepared across the state. Rajasthan has gained recognition across the world due to many reasons. To provide international market to the state’s products, the Rajasthan government has issued a policy under Rising Rajasthan. Under the theme of ‘One District-One Product (ODOP)’, efforts will be made to convert every district into a potential export centre. This is because Bhujia of Bikaner, Dari of Dausa, Kheermohan of Gangapur, Orange of Jhalawar, as well as marble-granite of Rajasthan are much liked. Whereas Bharatpur is known as the hub of honey production and Jalore is known as ‘Granite City’. Now, under the new policy, a task force will also be formed to promote them.

Review committee will be formed at state level

For this, a State Level Review Committee will also be constituted, which will verify the cost of new projects of MSMEs and provide a platform. For new enterprises creation, subsidy will be given up to 25 percent of the project cost i.e. up to Rs 15 lakh. At the same time, for micro and small units SC-ST, additional subsidy of Rs 5 lakh will be payable at the age of 35 years.

Will get cooperation in fair and exhibition
Under this policy, if a businessman displays any product of the district in international, national and regional fairs and exhibitions, then a minimum of Rs 50 thousand or 75 percent of the stall rent will be given by the government. It will be given 3 times in a financial year. Apart from this, fare for two persons will also be given to go to the fair. Similarly, for organizing fairs and exhibitions, an amount of Rs 2 lakh or 75 percent will be given for the rent of the stall. It will be payable only once in a year.
