Before Dev Diwali, booking of hotels and boats in Varanasi is full, 10 lakh tourists are expected to arrive.

Varanasi, November 14 (IANS). This time Dev Diwali will be celebrated on 15th November in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Preparations for Dev Diwali are almost complete in Kashi. It is being told that this time 10 lakh tourists are expected to reach Varanasi.

In view of Dev Diwali, booking of hotels and boats in Varanasi is full. This year the number of tourists attending Dev Diwali has increased. About 20 percent more people are expected to arrive this time compared to last year.

Secretary of Varanasi Hotel Association, Priyank Dev Singh said that this time the number of tourists on Dev Diwali has increased compared to last year. Most of the tourists coming here are staying in home stays and guest houses. Room rates in hotels are high and home stays are cheap. For this reason they are giving importance to home stay.

He further said, “Booking for Dev Diwali starts from June itself. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about it and the tourists coming here are also going to Ayodhya. Apart from this, tourism is also being promoted by the government. “

Sailor Tinku Sahni told that although the booking of boats starts a week in advance, but this time the booking has come very less. This time people are booking boats in sharing only. However, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about Dev Diwali. In view of this, necessary arrangements have been made from their side also.

Sailor Makalu Sahni said that every year he makes all the necessary preparations for Dev Diwali. During this time he takes care of the facilities of the passengers. This time there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding Dev Diwali and most of the boats have also been booked.

On the occasion of Dev Diwali, a plan has been made to light 17 lakh lamps at 84 ghats of Varanasi. Apart from this, fireworks and laser show will also be organised. Necessary arrangements have also been made for the world famous Ganga Aarti to be held at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
