Jaipur : There is great news for government employees in Rajasthan. Government employees of the state will not have to wait for the end of the month for salary and pension. This time all the employees will get their salaries before Diwali. Along with this, pensioners will also be paid their pension before Diwali. On Wednesday, Finance Department Secretary Debashish Prashti issued orders in this regard.
Order to pay salary before Diwali
Government Secretary Finance has issued orders for payment of salaries and pensions. Government Secretary Finance Devashish Prushti has issued instructions in this regard to the heads of departments, District Magistrates, Director Treasury Pension and treasury officers. It was said in the order that due to the festival of Diwali on October 31, the salary and allowances of all government office officers or employees (employees of Panchayat Raj Department) for the month of October should be paid on October 30.
Apart from this, pensioners have been ordered to pay their pension for the month of October on 30th October. It was told that this order will also be applicable to the offices of Rajasthan Government located in Delhi. This should be done before 30th October. Let us tell you that due to the festival of Diwali, many employee organizations and pensioners were demanding this from the government.
Announcement of giving bonus to non-gazetted employees
Earlier on October 12, the Bhajan Lal government had approved ad-hoc bonus for non-gazetted employees for the year 2023-24. Bonus will be calculated on the basis of maximum emoluments of Rs 7000 and 31 day month. This will be payable for a period of 30 days. According to this, each employee will get a maximum ad-hoc bonus of Rs 6774.
