Jaipur : Bhajanlal Government has given a big gift to women on Raksha Bandhan. Like every year, this time also on Raksha Bandhan, on August 19, travel in roadways buses will be free for women and girls. In this regard, Roadways Executive Director (Traffic) Dr. Jyoti Chauhan has issued instructions. According to the instructions, on August 19, on Raksha Bandhan, all women and girls of the state will be provided free travel facility in all categories of buses (except air-conditioned, Volvo and buses operated on All India Permits) operated within the state boundary of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation.
Operators will issue free tickets
On this day, the conductors will issue free travel tickets to all women and girls within the state. If the ticket making machine ETIM does not work with the conductor, then tickets will be issued from the concessional ticket book.
How long will the free travel last?
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, women and girls will be able to travel free of cost in all categories of roadways buses (except AC, Volvo and buses operated on All India Permits) till 11:59 pm on 19 August. This discount will be applicable up to the state boundary.
