Jaipur : this time Rajasthan has become flooded due to continuous rain. Many dams of the state have overflowed due to heavy rains after many years. At the same time, a serious problem of waterlogging has arisen in many areas. Due to rain in the capital Jaipur, many roads were submerged and many colonies were filled with rainwater. Due to heavy rains, potholes were formed on the roads in Jaipur. Not only this, water came out of the sewerage line. After showing the problem created in the city after the rain on NDTV, the department became active and a meeting was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of the Urban Development Minister.

Department asked to submit report in 3 days

Urban Development Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra held a meeting on the problem of damaged roads and waterlogging at various places after the rain. During this, Minister Kharra has instructed to prepare DPR to improve the sewerage and drainage system. Along with this, he has asked the Water Supply and Electricity Department to submit a report in 3 days. Regarding the broken roads of Jaipur, the Urban Development Minister said that the roads of the city will be repaired within 15 days as soon as the rain stops. At the same time, the major roads of the city will be reconstructed before the Rising Rajasthan Summit.

61 percent more rain than normal

Let us tell you that after the monsoon entered the south-eastern parts of Rajasthan on June 25, heavy rains disrupted the normal life of the people. This time so far 668.5 mm of rain has been recorded in the state, which is 61 percent more than normal. 51 percent more rain has been recorded in eastern Rajasthan and 77 percent more rain has been recorded in western Rajasthan. Which is double than before. Due to this, more than 100 people have died in rain-related accidents in the state, but these figures have come out superficially. Their official confirmation is yet to be done.
