Before the departure of monsoon from Rajasthan, rain alert has been issued in these 7 divisions, know how will be the weather of your city

Jaipur : The countdown for the departure of monsoon has started in Rajasthan. The departure of monsoon has started 6 days late from normal in the border areas of western Rajasthan from yesterday. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 7 divisions, light to moderate rain activities with thunder are likely to be recorded in some parts of Kota, Udaipur division of eastern Rajasthan from September 25 to September 30 and light to moderate rain with thunder is also likely to occur in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer division during September 27-29. The weather is likely to remain mainly dry for the next three-four days in most parts of Bikaner, Jodhpur division of western Rajasthan. Light rain with thunder is likely at some places in south-western Rajasthan during September 28 to 30.

Many ponds overflowed

Due to good rains, many ponds in the area were filled to the brim. Along with Sultanpur Nagar, ponds like Jhotoli, Dungarjaya Kamal Sarovar, Khedli Kalya Talab, Nimoda, Jhadgaon, Kanwarpura etc. were filled to the brim. Water even overflowed from many ponds. Farmers said that due to filling of ponds, there has been a good increase in the water level of drinking water for animals. However, due to waterlogging in the fields, crops have also been damaged.
