Before the municipal elections, Bhajan Lal government’s big gift to crores of people, this work worth Rs 180 crore will be done in 158 bodies.

Jaipur : The government is continuously giving instructions regarding road construction in Rajasthan. Even in the budget, the government had made announcements for road construction worth crores. Now, in implementation of the budget announcement 2024-25, the government has constructed 270 km long roads in 158 urban bodies. An amount of Rs 180 crore has been approved for the construction of roads. The government has said that the roads will be constructed by the Public Works Department. For this, administrative and financial approval has been issued for 728 road construction works in 158 bodies. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has said that it is our priority to make the state number one in the country in terms of road connectivity by developing the road network of urban bodies along with national highways, state highways, district roads, rural roads in the state. He said that under the budget announcement, roads are to be built in 295 urban bodies by the Public Works Department at a cost of Rs 317.50 crore.

Rs 5 crore for 15 works of 9 km road construction in urban bodies of Ajmer district.
Rs 1 crore 80 lakh for 13 works of 2.8 km road in Kekri district.
Rs 4 crore for 9 works of 4.9 km road in Beawar district.
Rs 5 crore 80 lakh for 18 works of 7.4 km road in Bhilwara district.
Rs 3 crore for 5 works of 3.8 km road in Shahpura district.
Rs 8 crore for 40 works of 18.6 km road in Didwana-Kuchaman district.
Rs 5 crore 40 lakh for 25 works of 6.8 km road in Karauli district.
Rs 3 crore 40 lakh for 20 works of 8.5 km road in Bikaner.
Rs 7 crore for 10 works of 6.2 km road in Hanumangarh district.
Rs 5 crore for 10 works of 3.8 km road in Anupgarh district.
Rs 6 crore 20 lakh for 38 works of 16.1 km road in Sriganganagar district.
Rs 13 crore for 46 works of 19.4 km road in Churu district.
