With the six thousand rupees received annually in three installments from the scheme, farmers are not only starting new crops but are also able to use the fertilizers and medicines applied to their crops on time.
Farmers in Vaishali, Bihar are happy after getting the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. Here, the farmers are not only getting the facility to buy fertilizers and seeds with the amount received from this scheme, but are also getting money to do many experiments for new farming and production. Also, due to lack of money, farmers are able to do double farming in one season.
Local farmer Chandra Bhushan Rai told IANS, “Earlier we used to face a lot of difficulties in farming, but now due to the benefits of the Prime Minister’s Scheme, we are able to do agricultural work through organic farming and other better methods, due to which our situation has improved. -We sell the vegetable produce in the local market, hence there is some problem, however, the situation has become much better than before. earn better And the situation is improving.”
Another farmer Umesh Rai said, “We take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Yojana, which helps us to do farming on time. We get an amount of Rs 11,000 per acre for fertilizer in organic farming. We use it to buy fertilizers and seeds and complete the work on time. Earlier, due to lack of money, we faced a lot of problems in farming, especially while cultivating paddy and wheat, and it was difficult to cultivate vegetables. Now that we get the money. “Farming work has become easier and our condition has improved.”
He said, “I am actively involved in this farming. We have started tomato cultivation and now we are also cultivating beans and parwal. We are doing double farming, due to which we are getting good production and we Trying to sell our produce in a better way.”
