Bhajan Lal government cuts another plan of Gehlot, know more

Jaipur : Rajasthan’s BJP government is changing many decisions of the previous government one after the other. Many schemes were closed while the names of some were changed. This sequence continued on Tuesday 2 July as well. Bhajanlal Cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday 2 July. In the meeting, another decision of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was changed by the Bhajanlal Sharma government. During the reign of the previous Congress government, Gandhi Vatika was built in the central part of Jaipur, which was inaugurated by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge. Gandhi Vatika Trust was formed to take care of this Gandhi Vatika. Bhajanlal government has dissolved this trust.

Many flaws were found, so it was cancelled – Jogaram Patel

Bhajanlal government minister Jogaram Patel while talking to media said that the previous government had formed a trust along with the construction of Gandhi Vatika. The work of this trust was to take care of the garden but many shortcomings were found in the trust. The Chief Minister is the president of this trust but all the powers were given to the vice-president. How can a person be given the right to sell government properties? Many other shortcomings were also found. In such a situation, the cabinet has decided to cancel the Gandhi Vatika Trust.
Appointment of Chairman, Vice Chairman and 15 members cancelled

The Gandhi Vatika Trust was formed. In it, the Chief Minister was made the President while the posts of 15 members including the Vice President were created. The previous government made Delhi resident Kumar Prashant the Vice President. A total of 14 members were also appointed including Jaipur resident Padma Shri DR Mehta, former Advocate General GS Bafna. These include Manish Sharma of Jaipur, Dharmaveer Katewa of Jhunjhunu, former MLA Gopal Baheti, Satish Rao of Banaras, Dr. Nizam, Rishabh Kumar Sharma of Bharatpur, Sawai Singh of Alwar, Asha Bothra of Jodhpur, Ramesh Pandya of Banswara, Manoj Thackeray of Maharashtra and Bharat Dosi were made members of the Trust. Now with the decision to dissolve this trust, the appointment of all the members and the Vice President has automatically been cancelled.

Not a single meeting was held in 6 months

The previous government constituted the Gandhi Vatika Trust and appointed 15 members including the vice-chairman, but not a single meeting of these officials was held in the last six months. The chairman may be the Chief Minister but all the powers were given to the vice-chairman. That is, the vice-chairman was given the right to take the final decision regarding the reversion, operation and management of all movable and immovable properties under Gandhi Vatika. Before the assembly elections, on 23 September 2023, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi inaugurated Gandhi Vatika.
