Jaipur : State Road Transport Corporation of Rajasthan is engaged in making bus facilities easier for the passengers of the state. Recently, a luxury bus service has been started from Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur to Delhi at concessional rates. At the same time, a special scheme is being run for the passengers of the state to travel free or at concessional rates in the buses of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. For this an RFID card has to be made. Now it is also being made easier to get it made. Free and concessional travel in buses has been started. The facility of applying online to get RFID card is increasing among the common people. People of the state are applying online to get RFID cards while sitting at home and are availing the benefit of free and concessional travel in corporation buses.
Benefit of free or concessional travel in 56 categories
Corporation President Shubhra Singh said that the state government provides the benefit of free or concessional travel in 56 categories. For this it is necessary to have an RFID card. He said that 27,098 cards have been prepared by Roadways on online application and made available at the residence of the person concerned. Mrs. Singh said that work is being done to make the process of making RFID cards completely online from January 2025.

To make online RFID card, application can be made through RSRTC website or mobile, on RSRTC Smart Card Application Portal or through eMitra. After paying the postal fee, the card is sent through post to the applied address of the concerned person.
