Bhajan Lal government took a big decision to improve health services in Rajasthan, this happened in more than 100 medical institutions.

Jaipur : Under the State Review Mission being run to improve health services in Rajasthan, a surprise inspection of medical institutions in Jaipur district was conducted on Friday. 34 teams formed at the state level conducted intensive inspection of more than 100 medical institutions in Jaipur district. Principal Secretary, Medical and Health Department, Gayatri Rathore said that health services are being upgraded in mission mode across the state, so that people can easily get quality health services at medical institutions. In this sequence, on Friday, teams of 34 doctors and other personnel were formed from the headquarters and sent to inspect various places in Jaipur district.

Investigation done in 104 medical institutions
Rathod said that these teams inspected 104 medical institutions in Sambharlek, Jobner, Chaksu, Madhorajpura, Bassi and Sanganer blocks. This includes district hospitals, sub-district hospitals, community health centres, primary health centres, urban primary health centres, sub-health centres, public clinics and other institutions.

The teams reviewed the presence of personnel in these institutions, condition of buildings and cleanliness, number of patients in OPD and IPD, availability of medicines, number of tests, non-functional equipment, testing machines not installed, funds available in RMRS, unused items. Made point-wise inspection regarding the status and progress of other health programs including auction, institutional delivery, sterilization, vaccination.

Responsibility of the officer to find flaws!
Based on the reports received from the teams, steps will be taken to improve health services. Also, responsibility of the concerned officers and personnel will be fixed in the medical institutions where deficiencies have been found.
