Jaipur : Bhajan Lal Cabinet is going to have an important meeting today. Investment summit will be discussed in the meeting and some policies including industry, medical tourism may get approval. According to sources, Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) may also be considered in the meeting. Apart from this, there is a possibility of discussion on lifting the ban on transfers. According to the information, a cabinet meeting will be held today at 3 pm in CMO under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
In the cabinet meeting of Bhajan Lal government, the progress of the action plan of ‘Apna Vikasit Rajasthan 2047’ can be reviewed. The preparations of the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit will be reviewed. Before the summit, other programs including road shows, foreign tours can be approved. Along with this, the draft of many other policies can also be approved.
Discussion on removing ban on transfers is also possible
According to sources, there is a possibility of discussion on lifting the ban on transfers in the meeting. Ministers and MLAs have been demanding lifting of the ban for a long time. The state government had lifted the ban on transfers for ten days before the Lok Sabha elections, during which transfers were not made in the education department. At that time, it was decided not to make transfers due to examinations.
UPS may be approved
Bhajan Lal government can discuss the implementation of Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) in the cabinet meeting. However, it is believed that the government may avoid taking a big decision regarding this amid the assembly by-elections. But it is possible to discuss the planning to implement the scheme.
‘Heal in Rajasthan’ policy was also discussed
In order to make Rajasthan a hub of medical tourism, a possible agenda for approval of ‘Heal in Rajasthan’ policy is likely to be placed during the meeting. Detailed discussions have been held with all stakeholders on the draft of the policy. 8.26 percent of the total budget has been provided for health. This policy is important for taking Rajasthan forward in the field of medical tourism. Construction of Ayushman Tower in Sawai Mansingh Hospital, establishment of two Medicities and Marwar Medical University, medical college and nursing college in every district, many high class medical institutions in the private sector coming to the state and promotion of telemedicine are within the scope of this policy.
