Kota : Consumers will soon get gram dal at the rate of 60 rupees per kg at fair price shops in all districts of the state including Kota. For this the state government has issued a detailed guideline. Proposals have been sought from all district logistics officers as to how much gram dal is needed for sale. Under the SOP issued by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, the Government of India will allocate gram dal on the basis of demand from Rajasthan State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation. Gram will be lifted from the FCI godown of Government of India and after making dal from it, it will be made available to ration shops and agencies of the department.

Chana dal will be made available in 1 kg packs. Its price will be Rs. 60 per kg. The central government has taken these steps to control inflation. Currently, chana dal is available in the market at Rs. 90 to Rs. 95 per kg. Its price is expected to increase during the rains.
150 rupees profit on purchase of 30 kg sack
If someone buys pulses in bulk, he will get a benefit of Rs 5 per kilogram. On purchasing a minimum 30 kg sack or bag, pulses will be made available at the rate of Rs 55 per kilogram. Apart from ration shops, pulses will also be sold at the sales counters and mobile units opened by the department at various places.
