Jaipur : On Sunday, Rajasthan’s Minister of State for Energy Hiralal Nagar said that an impartial high-level inquiry will be conducted into the corruption and other irregularities in the tenders of Jaipur Discom during the Gehlot government. Also, guilty officers and others will not be spared. Strict action will be taken against him.
Discom tenders are being investigated
Further Hiralal Nagar said that during the previous Gehlot government, 42 grid sub stations were built in the state. For which complaints were received through Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) against tender numbers TN-545, TN-546 and tender numbers 534 and 535 of RDSS scheme. On which the investigation of Discom is still in process.
If found guilty the tender will be canceled
The Energy Minister said that a high level committee has been constituted to examine the investigation conducted at the Discom level and has been instructed to submit its report quickly. Nagar said that as soon as the report of the committee’s finding of fault is received, instructions have been given to take action to cancel the tenders.
No matter who is guilty, he will not be spared
The Energy Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is working on the policy of zero tolerance against corruption. Other corruption cases of the previous government are also being investigated impartially by the state government. In this case too, an impartial investigation will be conducted and strictest action will be taken against the culprits. The government will not spare the culprit, no matter how big he is.
