Jaipur : Preparations have been made to distribute free bicycles to the girl students of class 9 in the academic session 2024-25 in Rajasthan. The special thing this year is that 8 lakh girl students in the state will be given saffron colored bicycles instead of black. Giving information about this, Education Minister Madan Dilawar has said that there is no specific purpose of changing the color of the bicycle.
Patriots used to wear these colors to start revolution
Before the tenure of Congress government, when BJP was in power in Rajasthan, even then the colour of the cycle was saffron. Congress had changed it to black. Madan Dilawar said- We are again changing the colour of the cycle to saffron. Saffron colour is the symbol of valour and bravery. When our country became independent, patriots used to wear this colour and revolt. The fire god also shines in this colour. Sun God gives light to the whole world. When he rises, this is his colour. With this thought in mind, we have decided to change the colour of the cycle to saffron from tomorrow. Let us tell you that the Rajasthan government gives an additional amount of Rs. 20 for commuting to the girl students coming from a radius of 3 to 5 km of the school on the basis of their daily attendance.
