Jaipur : The Cabinet Sub Committee constituted to review the decisions of the last 6 months of the tenure of the previous Congress government of Rajasthan has almost completed the work. The final meeting of the committee will be held on Wednesday and after that the committee will make its recommendations and submit the report to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The committee has reviewed more than 800 cases so far. It is being told that the committee can change most of the decisions of the previous Congress government. These include matters related to personal gain including land and mines allocation.
The decisions of about 11 departments were reviewed in the Cabinet Sub Committee meeting held at the Secretariat on Monday under the chairmanship of Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar. Ministers Sumit Godara and Manju Baghmar were also present in the meeting.
‘Too much destruction in the last 6 months’
After the meeting, Khinvsar told journalists that the previous Congress government blatantly flouted the rules during its last 6 months of tenure. Before the implementation of the code of conduct for the assembly elections, decisions were taken keeping in mind the rules and regulations, on which money was spent indiscriminately. To woo voters, land was allotted to many social organizations. Ignored the rules and regulations to provide personal benefit to some people. Minister Godara said that all aspects will be discussed in the final meeting on Wednesday and after that the review work will be completed.
