Bikaner : Assistant teachers appointed on contract in Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools will be paid summer vacations. In this regard, Deputy Secretary of the Education Department, Brijartan Prajapat has sent a letter to the Director of Secondary Education.
They will get benefit
It has been said in the letter that the Assistant Teacher Level-II (English/Mathematics) and Assistant Teacher Level-I appointed in English medium schools had joined before December 2023 under the rules. Approval has been given to pay them summer vacation benefits and summer vacation remuneration if they remain employed till December 31, 2024.

Let us tell you that the assistant teachers appointed on contract in Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools in July 20-23 did not get honorarium for summer vacation in most of the schools. In such a situation, Chief General Secretary of Rajasthan Primary and Secondary Teachers Association, Mahendra Pandey had given a memorandum to the Director of Secondary Education and informed that on these contractual posts, trained teachers through English medium themselves were appointed for one year. According to government rules, summer vacation salary is given to those appointed and joining till 31st December.
