Bharatpur B.Tech student arrested on cyber fraud charges

Bharatpur : Cyber ​​Police Station of Bharatpur has arrested a B.Tech student who committed fraud. The accused, along with his partner, defrauded a person of Rs 2 lakh 64 thousand. The arrested accused works in a private company in Noida. Investigation has revealed that till now a transaction of Rs 12 lakh has been made from the account of the accused. Cyber ​​police station officer Jitendra Gangwani said – On September 5, Rajendra Nagar resident Ashok Sharma had registered a case and said that some people cheated him of Rs 2 lakh 64 by luring him to double the money by investing in market shares. I had deposited that money for my daughter’s marriage. When the matter was investigated, it was found that the person who cheated Ashok Sharma was in Noida. Police traced the location and arrested the accused.

The accused revealed his name as Priyanshu Sisodia, resident of Firozabad (UP). When his accounts were checked, transactions worth Rs 12 lakh had already taken place. The amount cheated from Ashok Sharma had gone into this account. The accused said- I work in a private company in Noida. I had opened a new account on the advice of my friend Yogesh, resident of Ballia (UP). After this I gave the check book and debit card of the account to Yogesh. Yogesh gives some money in return. Police station in-charge said- Till now a transaction of Rs 12 lakh has been done from Priyanshu’s account. The matter is suspicious. On Thursday, he was produced in the court and taken on remand for two days. During this time he will be interrogated. Due to which more incidents can be revealed.
