Bharatpur News Desk: An incident of a woman being held hostage and sexually exploited for a month has come to light in Gaadi Bajna police station area of Bayana Police Circle. The victim woman is a resident of Bari Sadar police station area of Dholpur district. On November 6, miscreants riding a Bolero kidnapped a 35-year-old married woman, held her hostage at different places for a month and raped her. From Agra to Bayana’s Singhania, they were taken hostage and physically tortured.
ASI Rajaram Gurjar of Garhi Bajna police station said – The miscreants first took the woman to Runkata village of Agra district. Where he was kept hostage for 15 days. After this, the accused brought the girl to his village Singhania Mangarain village in Garhi Bajna police station area. Here the main accused Laxman raped her for 17 days.
Informed brother, police freed him
After getting a chance to escape from the clutches of the hostages, the victim informed her brother about the incident over phone. The brother immediately informed the police along with his family. As soon as the information was received, the police took action and rescued the girl and rounded up the two accused for questioning.
Case registered under rape and SC/ST Act
On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case under kidnapping-rape and SC/ST Act. The medical examination of the girl was conducted at the Community Health Center (CHC) of Bayana. The investigation of the case has been handed over to Deputy SP Krishna Raj. The police are thoroughly investigating all aspects of the incident.
