Bharatpur : a workshop was organized on Wednesday under the joint aegis of Just Right for Children and Prayat Sanstha at the Panchayat Samiti Auditorium of Bayana town. Judicial Officer Anutosh Gupta, Secretary, District Legal Authority was the chief guest. The special guest was Amit Awasthi of Child Empowerment Department. Child Marriage Free India poster of Kailash Satyarthi Foundation’s Just Right for Children was released in the workshop.
Chief Guest District Legal Services Authority Secretary ADJ Anutosh Gupta said that to make the Child Marriage Free India campaign successful, every person will have to understand the moral responsibility and eliminate social evils like child marriage. He administered oath to all the people present in the workshop to cooperate in making India free from child marriage.
Project Manager Shalu Hembrom said that a campaign has been started to make Bharatpur district free from child marriage and child trafficking. 50 villages of 5 blocks of the district have been selected. Pledge of child marriage free India was also taken together in all these villages on Wednesday.
