Bharatpur : Bharatpur Municipal Corporation took action to remove encroachment from the footpath on Wednesday morning. As soon as the traders came to know about it, they gathered in the market. Traders protested fiercely against CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and the administration. Traders also decorated the CM’s bier. As soon as the traders started taking out the funeral procession, the funeral procession was postponed after the advice of the police.
Encroachment removed from footpath
The businessman said- The entire market from the power station intersection of the city to Kumher Gate has been disrupted. This is an act of hooliganism and robbery by the Municipal Corporation. When the traders asked the Municipal Corporation officials for action, the Municipal Corporation officials said that the Bhajan Lal government had given them orders. This demolition is being done for the beautification of Bharatpur. Traders are already troubled with business. Businesses are not running. Traders are being misbehaved during the operation.
The Municipal Corporation should issue challan against the encroaching traders. No notice was given by the Municipal Corporation before this action. The goods kept on the footpath were destroyed with the bulldozer. Now the businessman is protesting against the administration and CM. The market has been closed in protest against this action.
