Bharatpur : The police team and the transport department team carried out a joint action in Nagal crusher zone of Pahari police station area of Deeg district. During this period, 6 dumpers and 2 bikes were seized. There was a stir among the mining mafia during the action. The Transport Department checked the vehicles being used for mining work late at night.
Police and Transport Department had received information that the vehicles being used for mining in Nagal Crusher Zone were stolen. After which the transport department team and police team reached the spot. There was panic among the mining people. The transport department checked all the vehicles on the spot. 6 dumpers and 2 bikes were also seized. The Transport Department fears that the seized vehicles may be stolen.
The vehicles have not been seized from Nagal Crusher Zone and brought to the hill police station. All the vehicles have been kept in the Nagal crusher zone only. As a precautionary measure, police force has been deployed at the spot. The seized vehicles were being used to supply stones.
