Bharatpur : Private school operators have protested against the increase in fees for the half-yearly examinations being held at the state level. School Shiksha Parivar, the largest organization of private schools, has also objected to the statement of Education Minister Madan Dilawar on the issue of fee increase.
Actually, the Education Department has increased the fees for half-yearly examinations from Rs 6 to Rs 20 per student. Private school operators are opposing the simultaneous increase in fees by more than three times. Meanwhile, Education Minister Madan Dilawar gave a statement that there is no money tree at the CM’s place. Even if people stop eating gutkha for a day, the fees can be easily paid.
Bayana Tehsil President of School Education Family, Neeraj Kumar Saraswat has termed the statement of the Education Minister as unfortunate. Saraswat said that many children from low income group families study in schools. In such a situation, increasing the fees three times at once is not justified. Instead of reducing the fees, to justify it, the Education Minister is making absurd statements like asking the parents of the children to give up gutkha food to pay the fees. Whereas the paper printing agency is ready to print the paper for only Rs 5.
