Bharatpur: Three accused of serious attack sentenced to 5 years each

Bharatpur : Three accused have been sentenced to 5 years of rigorous imprisonment in the case of serious assault in Bayana. In the 11 year old case, ADJ Sonali Prashant Sharma of Additional District and Sessions Court No. 1 has pronounced the sentence. The matter is of village Lahchora Khurd. A fine of Rs 5,000 each has also been imposed on the three accused. The remaining three accused in the case died during the trial. Due to which the action against him was dropped.

Complainant’s advocate Hitendra Patel said that there was a fight in village Lahchora Khurd on 27 March 2013 on the day of Dhulandi due to personal rivalry. In which Karan Singh had filed a case in Bayana police station against the other party’s Kunwar Singh, Vikram Singh, Vinod, Babulal, Jeetu and Vishnu for causing serious injury by assaulting his father Mohanlal, brother Subhash and uncle Kunwar Singh. After investigation, the police presented challan in the court against all the 6 accused. During the hearing in the court, 9 witnesses and 22 documentary evidence were presented by the prosecution.

Hearing both the sides of the case and based on the evidence available on file, ADJ Sonali Prashant Sharma considered the allegations proven and sentenced three accused Kunwar Singh, Vikram Singh and Vishnu to 5-5 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000 each. . The remaining three accused in the case, Babulal, Jeetu and Vinod, died during the trial.
