Bhilwara News Desk: A campaign against illegal mining is being run in the district under the leadership of Collector Namit Mehta and SP Dharmendra Singh. Under the campaign, 14 cases were registered on 27 and 28 November and 14 tractor-trolleys were seized. In Gulabpura area, 5 tractor-trolleys were caught illegally transporting mineral gravel and they were parked in the police station.
Six tractor-trolleys were seized in Badliyas area for transporting illegal mineral gravel. In Mandalgarh, Hamirgarh and Shambhugarh areas, one tractor-trolley each was seized for transporting illegal mineral gravel. Under the campaign, a total of 90 cases have been registered so far including the Transport Department. 8 big machines and 50 other vehicles have been seized.
