Bhilwara : Kotwali police station of Bhilwara has taken action against bookies and arrested 4 miscreants who were playing betting on the main road in the police station area and also cheating people. Police have also seized 5 mobile phones from them, which were used for betting.
Kotwal Rajpal Singh said that under the direction of SP Dharmendra Singh, a team was formed under the leadership of Additional SP Paras Jain and CO City Manish Badgujar to curb criminal activities. This team had received information that some people were gambling illegally on the main road in the police station area and had also cheated the common people.
On this, the police took action on information about betting on the main road in a public place and arrested 4 accused. The police have seized five mobile phones from them and registered a case under the IT Act.
Among the arrested miscreants, Praveen Singh Barwa (20) son of Radheshyam Barwa resident of Tera Panthnagar, Rajesh Saini (23) son of Gopal Lal Mali resident of Police Line Shivnagar, Shubham Vaishnav (23) son of Ram Avtar resident of Police Line, Dinesh Jat (25) son of Ramswaroop resident Shahpura is included near Anganwadi.
