Bhilwara NDRF organizes mock drill at Meja Dam in Bhilwara

Bhilwara : NDRF team in Bhilwara on Tuesday practiced rescue operations and mock drill in flood like situation at Meja Dam. In this, as per the instructions of Commandant (CCD) 6th Corps NDRF Vikas Kumar, under the supervision of Rajasthan in-charge NDRF Yogesh Kumar Meena and under the leadership of Inspector/GD Vijay Singh Meena, flood protection related equipment was demonstrated along with the FWR team of NDRF.

The mock drill included methods of rescuing people trapped in emergencies like floods, stabilizing people injured in floods and providing relief and rescue to trapped people. On this occasion, senior officers praised the performance by the NDRF team.

As per the instructions of District Collector Namit Mehta and ADM Administration Omprakash Mehra, the NDRF team discussed the rescue and relief operations that can be carried out in case of flood-based emergency and how the citizens and the administration can fight floods in case of such disasters in future. Gave information about the preparations regarding how to deal with the crisis situation, etc. During this, NDRF also told about home remedies for flood protection.
