Bhilwara : the memories of the Bhaathi incident that happened in Bhilwara exactly a year ago are still fresh in the minds of the people of the state. Something happened to a minor girl, which shamed the whole humanity. On the morning of 2 August 2023, a 17-year-old girl had gone to graze cattle. Then she was gang-raped and thrown alive into a coal furnace. After this incident, 9 accused were arrested. When information about this incident was received the next day on the morning of 3 August 2023, there was a stir in the whole of Rajasthan. The then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his government instructed the police to take action in this matter and the result was that both the beasts Kalu and Kanha were sentenced to death by the court within a year. Now both of them are waiting for their death inside the jail.

Let us tell you that in this case, challan was presented against Kalu son of Ranglal Kalbelia, Pappu son of Amar Nath Kalbelia, Kanha son of Ranglal Kalbelia, Sanjay son of Prabhu Kalbelia, Kamlesh son of Shravan Kalbelia, Prabhu father Gangaram Kalbelia and Lad alias Jiji wife of Kalu Kalbelia. But two days ago on May 18, the court acquitted 7 accused and today the main two accused Kalu Kalbelia and his brother Kana Kalbelia were sentenced.

The main accused in the case was sentenced to death

The main accused in this case was Kalu and he was given death sentence under section 302. Along with this, he was sentenced to life imprisonment under 376 and 376D, 7 years imprisonment under 326, life imprisonment under 5 GL-6 POCSO Act. The second accused Kana was also given death sentence under 302. Life imprisonment under POCSO Act, 7 years imprisonment under 326 and life imprisonment under 376. This is a historic decision of the court and the police department has also played a very good role.
