Kota : ACB Baran unit on Thursday arrested junior assistant of social welfare department and two middlemen while accepting bribe of 10 thousand. The complainant had given complaint to this effect to Baran unit of ACB. According to the complaint, junior assistant of social welfare department Amardeep Meena is demanding 20 thousand rupees in total, i.e. 10 thousand on first installment and 10 thousand on second installment through middleman Bharat Vaishnav and Banwari Lal Vaishnav, in lieu of releasing the amount of 1.50 lakh to be given to the victim of women atrocities.
On this, a trap operation was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of ACB Kota Kalyanmal Meena and under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Premchand. Under this, Meena and both Vaishnavs were caught red handed taking a bribe of 10 thousand. On the basis of interrogation of the accused, search of residence and other hideouts is going on.
