Jaipur : A big gift has been given by the Bhajanlal government to the state employees and pensioners of Rajasthan. On the anniversary of Bhajan Lal government, some gift or the other is being given to the people of the state. In such a situation, the employees and pensioners of the state have also received a gift from the Finance Department. Under this, the dearness allowance (DA) of state employees and pensioners has been increased. However, this dearness allowance is given under the fifth and sixth pay scale. Actually, the Bhajan Lal government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of state employees and pensioners under the fifth and sixth pay scales. This increased DA is being implemented from July 1. That means, the arrears from July 1 till now will be given to the employees and pensioners.

Increase of 12 percent and 7 percent DA

The increased dearness allowance is being given by the government to the state employees and pensioners under the fifth and sixth pay scales. It has been increased by 12 percent and 7 percent respectively. The proposal of dearness allowance has been approved by Deputy CM and Finance Minister Diya Kumari.

Now you will get 455 percent and 246 percent DA

Diya Kumari said that as a result of this decision, dearness allowance in the fifth pay scale has increased from 443 percent to 455 percent and in the sixth pay scale from 239 percent to 246 percent. This decision, a symbol of hard work, is a link to the new dawn of happiness in the lives of our serving and retired state employees. He said that as per the vision of ‘Aapno Aagiri Rajasthan’, our government is committed to the all-round upliftment of every section of the state.

Let us tell you, under the seventh pay scale, dearness allowance for government employees and pensioners was increased at the time of Diwali. As a Diwali gift, dearness allowance was increased by 3 percent. After which he is getting 53 percent dearness allowance. This dearness allowance was also given from July 1.
