Dungarpur : By-elections are being held on seven assembly seats of Rajasthan state and the counting of votes is on 23rd November i.e. today. If we talk about the most different and interesting seats, then everyone’s eyes are fixed on the Chaurasi Assembly by-election of Dungarpur district. Due to it being a tribal area, both the big parties Congress and BJP have to put in all their strength, while about 10 candidates are contesting for the eighty-fourth assembly seat.
These candidates have entered the electoral fray
In the by-election on Chaurasi Assembly seat of Dungarpur district, experienced face Karilal Nanoma from BJP is contesting, while young face Mahesh Rot from Congress and young face Anil Katara from BAP are contesting. All three candidates have been fielded by their party for the first time in the assembly elections. Eighty-four seats are a challenge for all three parties. This seat has been held by Bharat Adivasi Party for two consecutive terms.

There are a total of 2 lakh 55 thousand 375 voters on eighty-four seats. The number of men in this is 1 lakh 30 thousand 647. Whereas the number of women is 1 lakh 24 thousand 727. If we talk about youth, out of total 2 lakh 55 thousand 375 voters, 1 lakh 31 thousand 263 voters are youth.

Counting of the 10th round of 84 assembly by-elections has been completed. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party is leading by 8093 votes. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party has got 44980 votes. Whereas Bharatiya Janata Party’s Karilal got 36887 votes and Congress’s Mahesh Rot got 11622 votes.
Eighty-fourth by-election 9th round of voting completed, this party’s lead remains intact
Counting of the 9th round of 84 assembly by-elections has been done. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party is leading with 14113 votes. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party has got 43158 votes. Karilal of Bharatiya Janata Party got 29045 votes and Mahesh Rot of Congress got 10183 votes.
Tough competition between two parties on 84 seats, this is the 6th round of counting
Counting of the 6th round of 84 assembly by-elections has been done. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party is leading by 10411 votes. There is a direct contest going on between Bharat Adivasi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party got 28005 votes. Whereas Karilal of Bharatiya Janata Party got 17594 votes. Apart from this, Mahesh Rode of Congress got 7913 votes.
Third round of voting completed on 84 seats, know the results
The third round of counting in the eighty-four assembly by-elections has been completed. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party is leading by 9018 votes. Anil Kumar Katara of Bharat Adivasi Party has got a total of 16057 votes. Whereas Bharatiya Janata Party’s Karilal got 7039 votes and Congress’s Mahesh Rode got 4558 votes.
Trend of first round of 84 seats, this candidate took lead
After the first round of Chaurasi trends started, BAP’s Anil Katara is leading by 1996 votes. Anil Katara has received a total of 5035 votes so far. BJP’s Karilal got 3039 votes and Congress’s Mahesh Rot got 1388 votes.

Voting has taken place in the eighty-fourth assembly by-election. However, this time, just 11 months after the assembly elections, the voting percentage has decreased in the by-elections. In the 2023 assembly elections, a record 81.76 percent voting took place in Chaurasi. Now there has been a decline of 7.42 percent in voting. 74.34 percent votes have fallen in Chaurasi. Out of 1 lakh 30 thousand 647 male voters, 97 thousand 212 voted. Out of 1 lakh 24 thousand 727 women voters, only 92 thousand 645 voted. A transgender has also voted. Its effect will also be visible on the results.
