Big disclosure in teacher recruitment exam in Rajasthan, many secrets revealed during interrogation

Jaipur : Dummy candidates brought for Rs 20 lakh each appeared in the senior teacher recruitment exam. SOG has arrested one such middleman, who himself is a Village Development Officer (VDO) and had provided several dummies for the exam. The arrested Village Development Officer has been taken on remand till 17 September. SOG is now looking for four dummy candidates. The arrested VDO Darshan Kumar Meena son Ramprayag Meena (36) is a resident of village Asthal in Mamachari, Karauli. He has been working in Manda Panchayat of Pali since 2018. SOG ADG VK Singh said that after investigation in the case registered by RPSC, selected candidates Anil Kumar Meena resident of Kachroda, Sapotra and Surat Ram Meena resident of Barnala, Bamanwas were arrested. The exam was held in two shifts. Four dummy candidates appeared in the exam in place of both. Anil and Surat Ram Meena had contacted Darshan Lal Meena to have a dummy appear in the examination in their place.

Darshan struck a deal with examinee Anil for Rs 20 lakh and Surat Ram for Rs 15 lakh. He provided four dummies for the exam and also got them to appear in the exam by manipulating the papers. Anil and Surat got selected for the post of Senior Teacher (Science Subject). When irregularities were detected in the record verification, RPSC registered a case in December 2023. SOG arrested Anil on September 4 and Surat on September 5. These accused are on remand till September 15.
Investigation officer Prakash Kumar Sharma is questioning the three accused face to face. Investigation revealed that there is a gang that provides dummy candidates. Darshan had kept nine lakh rupees as the middleman. He had given the remaining amount to someone else. Police is searching for that middleman along with four dummies.
