Chittorgarh : Deputy CM and Finance Minister Diya Kumari has presented the first full budget of Bhajanlal government in Rajasthan Assembly. While presenting the budget, Diya Kumari has made several announcements for the state. At the same time, many major announcements have been made in the budget for Chittorgarh. Talking about Chittorgarh, many announcements have been made here from drinking water to road-bridge, electricity and hospital building. Apart from this, provision has also been made in the budget to promote tourism. A provision of 3 thousand 530 crores has been made for Chittorgarh-Pratapgarh, Rajsamand and Udaipur districts from Jakham Dam Drinking Water Project including 220 kV GSS in Begu area of Chittorgarh district and 33 kV GSS in Bhainsrodgarh. A provision of 65 crores has been made for Special Judicial Magistrate for Corruption Act at Chittorgarh headquarters and Additional Judicial Magistrate at Badisadri as well as for the construction of the much-awaited Matrikundiya to Dindoli feeder. While a proposal has been made to prepare a DPR for a ropeway from Chatrang Mori of the fort with the aim of promoting tourism in Chittorgarh, a mention has been made in the budget to develop Bassi Sanctuary as an eco-tourism site.
