Bundi : BSNL’s mobile phone rang for the first time in 9 villages of Bundi district of Rajasthan. Mobile internet is on speed mode from 5 4G towers in Bundi city. Till now 4G services have been started at 41 sites of BSNL. 4G services of BSNL have also been started in Bundi. New 4G towers have been installed and upgraded at a total of 41 sites in the district and made operational, due to which mobile internet is being made available to the consumers on speed mode. 4G service has been started by upgrading towers at 5 places in Bundi city. In Bundi district, BSNL has also installed towers in such villages which are quite remote. Apart from this, the special thing is that there are 9 villages Anuppura, Holaspura, Nohra, Rooppura, Bhojgarh, Sarodara, Palaka, Kewariya and Golpur, where a mobile network has reached for the first time and it has been made available by BSNL. Due to lack of network, mobile phones never rang in these villages. Now here one can easily talk through mobile and 4G services are also available directly. After this, 4G services have started being available in the rural areas around the site within a radius of about 4.5 km.

Deputy General Manager J. P Meena said that to provide 4G internet services in the villages including the city, the work of installing new towers and upgrading them is going on war footing. BSNL has done the work of providing mobile network to 10 such villages. Where no network has reached before.
