Big news for government employees of Rajasthan, know this plan of Bhajanlal government

Jaipur : The state government has not been able to recover the amount from 16382 out of 83679 employees who became beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act (NFSA) and lifted the wheat meant for the poor even after 5 years. So far, Rs 82 crore 66 lakh has been recovered from 67297 personnel in this case, which came to light in 2020 during the previous Congress government. These government personnel had taken the wheat share of the poor at Rs 1 to 2 per kg, but the government has recovered the amount from them at the market price of Rs 27 per kg.

According to sources, recovery notices have been issued to 16382 Rajasthan government employees who have not deposited the money even after five years. It has been said that strict action will be taken if the dues are not paid. On the other hand, Food Supply Minister Sumit Godara has asked the District Logistics Officers (DSOs) to speed up recovery. The employees include both state and central employees.

100% recovery in two districts

The department has made 100% recovery from the employees in Karauli and Tonk. 4 crore 33 lakh rupees have been recovered from 2924 employees in Karauli and more than 1 crore 40 lakh rupees have been recovered from 1175 employees in Tonk. However, no employee’s name was revealed in the investigation in Bharatpur Rural and Udaipur Rural.

Recovery started from the year 2020

In fact, after complaints of government personnel lifting wheat by becoming eligible under the National Food Security Act, an investigation was conducted by the District Logistics Officers in the year 2020. After the names of government personnel came to light in the investigation, instructions were given to recover the price of the wheat lifted at the market rate. Then, when the scheme was linked to Aadhaar, cases came to light in the investigation. Recovery has been done from most of the personnel, the amount will be recovered from the remaining people soon.

These districts have the least number of employees

Jaipur city 314, Rajsamand 733, Pali 861, Bikaner 494, Kota rural 590, Jalore 971, Dholpur 776 and Ajmer rural and city have 909 and 960 employees respectively.

These districts have the most employees

7702 in Dausa district, 6147 in Banswara, 6243 in Jaipur rural, 6027 in Alwar, 5267 government personnel in Udaipur city were found guilty in the investigation.
